The Buffalo Sabres have traded winger Hudson Fasching to the Arizona Coyotes for a pair of players, defenseman Brandon Hickey and forward Mike Sislo.

Fasching, 22, was acquired by former Sabres general manager Tim Murray during the 2014 NHL Trade Deadline, sending defenseman Brayden McNabb and two second round picks to acquire the then-highly touted prospect from the Los Angeles Kings. Despite the accolades, Fasching was not able to get things going in the Sabres organization. Fasching registered only three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 22 games in a Sabres uniform, and totaled 42 points in 106 career games in Rochester.

Hickey just finished his career at Boston University, tallying 54 points from the blue line in 147 NCAA games. The 22-year-old served as captain for the Terriers in 2017-18. Hickey was drafted 64th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames, but was traded to Arizona along with goaltender Chad Johnson to acquire goaltender Mike Smith last year.

Sislo, 30, has bounced around the AHL the past four seasons and has played in only 42 NHL games in his career.
