July 20, 2018 - 5:15 pm

The second round of The Open Championship concluded this afternoon with a tie for first place on the leader board. American’s Kevin Kisner and Zach Johnson sit alone in first after they concluded the second round 6-under par.

Other than Kisner and Johnson, there is currently a three-way tie for third place. Pat Perez, Xander Schauffele, and Tommy Fleetwood are all sitting 5-under, just one stroke behind first place.

Some big names on the leader board: Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler are sitting at 3-under par, while Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are sitting at even after the first two rounds.

Early on, first place is still up for grabs as there are many golfers still in the running to take the lead at the British Open. As the 2nd round concludes, the cut was 2 over par. Big names like Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas will not play into the weekend. The British will continue tomorrow and the final round will be played Sunday to determine the first place finisher.
