According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors are finalizing a trade that will send forward Kawhi Leonard to Toronto.

As part of the deal, the Raptors will be sending the Spurs a package that will include guard DeMar DeRozan.

Leonard, 27, has spent the last seven seasons in San Antonio, playing in 407 games while averaging 16.3 points per-game. Leonard was a NBA All-Star in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 season, averaging 23.4 points per-game and shooting 49.5-percent from the field. Last year, Leonard played in just nine games due to complications with a right quadriceps injury.

This offseason, Leonard reportedly requested a trade from San Antonio after growing tired of how the team handled his quad injury. When he made the trade request, Leonard had reportedly made it known that he wanted to be dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers.

League sources have informed both Wojnarowski and ESPN's Chris Haynes that both Leonard and DeRozan are aware of a possible agreement, but neither are expressing enthusiasm for the deal.

Another league source has informed Haynes that the Raptors brass met with DeRozan in Las Vegas this summer and informed him that he would not be traded.

DeRozan has three years and $83 million left on his contract, while Leonard is set to become a free agent next summer.
