Report: Bills release Adolphus Washington

September 10, 2018 - 7:13 pm

Not a major change after losing 47-3 to the Ravens, but according to ESPN's Adam Schefter the Bills are letting go one of their defensive tackles.

Adolphus Washington was a third round pick of the Bills in 2016 out of Ohio State. He started 21 games out of 30 in two seasons, recording 3.5 sacks and 36 tackles in that time. Washington was downgraded to fourth on the depth chart below Star Lotulelei, Kyle Williams, and 2018 third round pick Harrison Phillips.

Not counting the 2017 draft class, that leaves just two players selected by Doug Whaley still on the team's roster, DE Shaq Lawson and OG John Miller remain on the Bills.

This leaves the Bills with one empty roster spot. Keep it locked to WGR to find out what they do with the spot!
