After suffering their first loss of the season last week against the New England Patriots, the Bills will try to rebound at Tennessee against the Titans. These two teams matched up last week in the exact same spot, week five in Orchard Park. Buffalo won that game 13 to 12 and if you'll go by Stephen Hauschka at the buzzer. Here are three keys for this weeks contest:

  • Mistake-free Mariota

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is the only QB in the league who has started four games and yet to give the ball away. In fact, he currently has the league's longest active streak of passes without a pick (169) and the last time he threw an interception was December 6 of last year, in Jacksonville. The Bills are tied for 2nd in the NFL with five interceptions. They are 6th in the league intercepting the ball at a 3.11% rate per pass attempt. Somethings gotta give.

  • The Josh Allen Experience

After definitely showing improvement and a nice trajectory from his rookie year through the first three games, Bills QB Josh Allen had a rough week Last Sunday against the patriots. He completed only 13 of 28 attempts for 153 yards and was intercepted three times before leaving the game with a head injury. On Saturday, he was cleared from concussion protocol and is expected to start in this one. How he bounces back will go a long way in determining if the Bills can move to 4-1.

  • Rock pounding

This game will feature the running back with the 9 most yards in the league (Derek Henry, 310) and 12th most yards (Frank Gore, 273). With the forecast calling for showers, especially as the day goes on, the running game for each team will become even more important, and both would love to establish it early. We will know Sunday if Devin Singletary is able to play for the Bills, but if so he would be a big boost.
