One of the most well-known Buffalo Bills superfan has passed away..

Ezra Castro, aka "Pancho Billa", died on Tuesday morning in Dallas, Texas after a long battle with cancer. He was 39-years-old.

The family of Castro announced the sad news on Twitter late Tuesday morning:

Castro was diagnosed with cancer back in November of 2017 when doctors found a cancerous tumor on his spine that had spread to his liver, lungs and lymph nodes. Last year at the NFL Draft in Dallas, Castro was called to the stage to make the announcement of the Bills' third round pick, which ended up being defensive tackle Harrison Phillips.  He was joined on stage by Bills' legends Andre Reed and Fred Jackson.

Bills owner Kim Pegula responded to the news of Castro's passing with this tweet:

Last month, Castro was given the honor of calling in the team’s first round pick, defensive tackle Ed Oliver of Houston, while on the phone with general manager Brandon Beane:

We send our condolences to Ezra and his family.

Viva Los Bills.
