Bills sign fullback Olstad after tryout

The Buffalo Bills on Monday announced the signing of fullback Zach Olstad.
The Winona State product attended rookie minicamp last weekend on a tryout basis. Used primarily as a blocking fullback, the 5’ 11”, 245-pound Olstad only had one carry last year for the Warriors. He also caught five passes for 44 yards. For his Winona State career, Olstad collected 28 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown.
Olstad joins Patrick DiMarco as the only fullbacks on the team’s roster.
To make room for Olstad, the Bills designated running back Aaron Green as waived/injured (hamstring).
