Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott spoke with the media before the start of Bills training camp on Thursday at St. John Fisher College. Here is some of what they had to say:

Beane on the latest with the LeSean McCoy situation:

"We're not thinking hypotheticals. LeSean is here, we're focused on him being here."

"We feel comfortable that LeSean is going to be here and ready to roll. We don't see that changing."

McDermott on McCoy:

"When things come up, our leadership team comes together and we talk. We've done our due diligence on speaking with who we need to speak with."

McDermott on if there is a timetable on when he'd like to have a starter in place at QB:

"I don't think there's a perfect way out there, perfect set date & time to name a starter. I understand the QB position is different in certain ways... It'd be nice to get a pretty good feel early on."

Beane on the health of Zay Jones:

"He can do certain things. He can't practice until we take him off (the NFI), it's like PUP... He's chomping at the bit."

McDermott on if Zay Jones has fallen behind due to injury:

"I think he's behind. That's a tough deal. That said Zay is a positive young man, with tremendous mental toughness."
