The Bills reportedly put a claim in on former Jets tight end Jordan Leggett early on Wednesday. The team did end up adding a tight end, signing free agent tight end Mik'Quan Deane. The Bills also added to the offensive line signing tackle De'Ondre Wesley.

Mik'Quan Deane is an undrafted rookie tight end out of Western Kentucky. He had 44 catches for 530 yards and six touchdowns in his senior season. He was let go by the Seahawks earlier this week.

The Bills not sit with seven tight ends on the roster, including the injured Tyler Kroft. With Lee Smith's recent contract including guaranteed money, Dawson Know being a 3rd round pick, and Kroft's big deal, it's likely that only one roster spot at the position is up for grabs. Jason Croom and seventh round pick Tommy Sweeney will be leading candidates for that spot.

De'Ondre Wesley has spent time with the Bills. He was on the practice squad in 2017, and was on the roster during the 2018 offseason.Wesley was cut from the practice squad in September, and then latched on with the Colts.
